I had the pleasure of seeing them live twice. My favorite BOC song and always will be. The beginning of Stephen King's "The Stand" (1994 and best version) features this at the beginning. Some folks back when this was on the radio every day thought it was encouraging suicide but deep down it's a love song. Two is one. Another band with this kind of vibe and depth you need to check out if you haven't already is Kansas. Fun fact: Before they were Blue Oyster Cult, they were The Great White Underbelly.

They are awesome live! One of those bands that sounds exactly like their studio albums. Besides Pink Floyd and Rush, they are #3 on my favorite concerts I went to back starting in the mid 1970s on.

Got to see these guys live a few years back right on the shores of Lake Michigan. They went into this song just as the sun was setting over the lake. Now my 6 year old gets to wear the concert T-shirt as her night gown lol. A little to small for me, a bit to big on her, but Blue Oyster Cult is a one size fits all band.
