One of the best live double albums ever catching Michigan native Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band at the height of his powers . He would have solo success with radio play and tv ads in his future but this live album done over a series of nights in Detroits Cobo Hall is a tremendous showcase of his singing and song writing talent

Tina Turner wrote it, this version was recorded a couple years later. Loving all the comments everyone's posting, all the love for this album. This album was the one that broke him nationally. You should listen to the whole thing, Bob's voice was incredible on it (no surprise), one of the best live albums ever, recorded in Bob's home stomping grounds, Cobo Hall Detroit. Great mix of rockers, ballads, some funky R&B Van Morrisony type of stuff. Coming from a small town in Michigan, we always used to sing "better watch out for the Po - lice, when you cruise into Nutbush" when we were misbehaving and cruising around. Or "we gotta get out of Denver ..." another great rocker off this album

If you want to see Bob really gettin it and rocking with soul, check out one of the first hits he ever had when he was a little teenage Bob called "Ramblin Gamblin Man"! He had a whiskey voice even back then. Be sure and get the original old video, because he did the song later too. But he flat out rocked it when he was still a kid. ❤💃🎸🎵
