Against the Wind, Night Moves, Turn the Page, Roll me Away, Hollywood Nights, Like a Rock, Mainstreet and probably one of the most famous Bob Seger songs you have got to know is Old Time Rock and Roll which Tom Cruise dances to in his undies in a little old movie called Risky Business! The songs I listed are some of my favorite Bob Seger songs but he has so many more his playlist is super long and he doesn’t have a bad song on that list at least in my opinion can’t wait to see you guys dive into The Bob Seger rabbit hole!!! He has one of the best voices in all of Rock and Roll. There is not such thing a bad Bog Seger song. I know people have already suggested many of his songs but Turn the Page is an absolute classic my personal favorite is Hollywood Nights. Also if you like movies from the 80's you probably heard some of his songs in Risky Business and Beverly Hills Cop 2. As far as this song goes it is about a one night stand but more than that. Its about a man and a woman who dated but have not broken up, and they are both alone and lonely and he asks for one more night. Like how many ex's keep bumping into each other after they break up .

The Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section jump-started Bob's success in '71 and '72. He ran out of money while recording in Alabama. Rather than sending him back to Michigan, the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section fronted him enough money so he could get back into the recording studio. The Muscle Shoals guys did something with Seger that would never happen again. They offered to put Bob on a contract to really get him rolling. The Amazing thing was, it was a hand shake deal. That was the 70s for you. Most of the Rhythm Section has passed away now but you folks should give them their dues. If not for legends like Barry Becket, Jimmy Johnson, Pete Carr and Roger Hawkins, there wouldn't have been what you now praise.

Bob Seger’s piano-based ballad tells a story of two lonely people who aren’t meant to be but will deal for one night. Seger penned the song after watching a movie titled, The Sting, starring Robert Redford and Paul Newman. He saw a scene in the film where Redford puts the moves on a waitress, who says, “I don’t even know you.” Redford replies: “You know me. I’m the same as you. It’s two in the morning and I don’t know nobody.”

It is about lonely people taking a chance. It is a beautiful song really...and from the outset with that piano and opening lines...fabulous! Bob Seger really has a great variety of hits. “let’s make it last...let’s find a way” “Deep in my soul...I’ve been so lonely...all of my hopes, fading away..I’ve longed for love...like everyone else does...I know I’ll keep searching - even after today”
