I'm 62, grew up on a ranch listening to old AM country stations during the day, but at night XROK 80 in Juarez Mexico would boost their power and I would lay in bed listening to the Wolfman Jack show. I went on to play a variety of genre's but came back to old country and I can't help but incorporate my various influnces.

A lot of country singers have been diversifying their sounds. It ranges all over the scale of music classes. He is one that has the ability to bridge some gaps in genres. There are some that start out in country and end up switching genres after a couple of years, but eventually make their way back home to it.
