I heard this the first time 50 years ago on AM radio . I'll never forget. Blew my mind for sure. Loved it immediately.

Desde Nicaragua: desde los años 80's soy fan de Eno. Sus dos primeros albums, glam rock, son de sus mejores trabajos incluso antes de incursionar en la ambient music. Saludos!

Wow, Eno! Play "Third Uncle"; it's mind-blowing.

most likely you'll get to another guy who is primarily known as a successful producer (Donna Summer, Blondie, Berlin) who also has worked as a solo artist but is not very well known to the general public as a solo artist: Giorgio Moroder.

Wikipedia-The song is a surreal fantasy about a photography session involving a burning woman and unthinking, laughing onlookers, and two second-hand tobacconists.

Eno is primarily known as one of the most popular and successful record producers of his era. This and "Needles in the Camel's Eye" are his most popular songs as an artist. But many would consider his music and his nasally voice to be just too quirky.

Welcome back JJ. Super fun reaction! This song is like sonic corruption. With the scathing tone of Eno’ voice , combined with Fripps guitar (from King Crimson) that sounds like it on fire. I always envision this a psychedelic trip into darkness, almost like a sacrifice to join a cult. Meanwhile a few years later this dude invents Ambient music. 😆

Listening to this for the first time in 2024 I know realise that a shitload of bands that I like from the post punk era in the early to mid 80's must have been partly influenced by Eno. At that time I was a teenager who listened to heavy rock/NWOBHM and I thought that all the post punk stuff was a load of weird rubbish lol

You’ve just leveled up when you can start to detect the linkage of you favorite bands.
