That song was released in 1914. Only in Korea, the song was considered misogyny for women and RM had to apologize in public and he said he would consult to professors at the University for the lirics. Meanwhile the world love "War of Hormones. Anyway, I guess BTS "Go Go" (For halloween) has the same kind of music. And BTS "Spine Breaker" (in live) is funny as well. (The lirics has a big meaning). Justice for War Of Hormone 💜👍🏻 The song is fantastic - sweet; funny; and, most importantly, honest. People who hate on it are, essentially, denying what it is like to be a teenager, and young person (male or female), when those hormone levels start changing. I love War Of Hormone, it always makes me smile. And it's in no way offensive 💜👌

This is video evidence of what an absolute menace V was in this era. His growly voice, the clothes, the lollipop and his spot on facial expressions. And he has always looked very good in black and white. He was so perfect in this. I also think this was the video where the director commented on V's interaction with the camera and how he was such a natural at it.

It's such a shame that they don't perform this because it's a total banger. However this is the song that brought about a whole crapshow of backlash for "misogynistic lyrics". As a (western) woman I don't think there's anything wrong with it AT ALL. In fact I think it's blatantly clear that it's meant as an ironic look into the mind of a hormonal teenage boy and the mv and choreography totally emphasizes the humor. And if we are being honest, teenage girls are not so different. We think, and feel, pretty much the same things. Honestly, it's a song for all teens. It's funny, sweet, and, most importantly, honest. Also pretty dang respectful, if you take the time to really read the lyrics. While I would love to see them perform War Of Hormone, I understand that they are no longer teenage boys, and have passed that stage in their lives. But the message is still valuable to young guys, and girls. It's an amazing song 💜👌

War of Hormone got a lot of hate when it was released because the lyrics were considered misogynistic. This was a time in kpop when open lyrics and singing about controversial topics was side-eyed. It’s a lot more accepted now but not so much back then. Plus, haters were looking for every reason to bring down BTS. The lyrics in question are supposed to be the thoughts of a teenage boy when he’s around a girl, the time in life when you have hormones you don’t really understand. The song was meant to show the pov of these boys, not to belittle women in general. People chose to see it a different way that made BTS look bad. Namjoon had to apologize and he took the extra step to see professors and experts in women studies, literature, etc. (even now, Namjoon has his lyrics be reviewed so the message comes across correctly; I think this is a way better apology then just “sorry”) Sadly, they have not performed this since that controversy which is a shame because it’s such a bop. It’s so catchy and would definitely be fun as a performance, but I understand why they don’t. Justice for War of Hormone!

It's crazy. It's probably one of the least misogynistic songs I've heard. Rather, it's a funny, sweet, honest look at being a teenage boy. But guess what, it applies to teenage girls as well. With this MV the fans are somewhat divided, I have met some who hate it and others who love it. I saw her when came out and from the first moment I loved the style, the way they used the colors. Made me laugh a lot and is currently one of my favorite songs. Although he was highly criticized for his bold lyrics, which if you compare him with some of the Latin American artists, he is not at all.

This song is SO GOOD. Here in Brazil we love it, we even put it in #1 on Itunes last year, it was amazing XD I love it, I dont care what people say. As much as I love everything BTS come out with...this song, Danger and the Dark and Wild album continues to be my favourite till this day! This song in particular caused so much controversy when it came out because of supposedly misogynist lyrics. As a western woman, I just find the song hilarious as they are literally talking about the hormones and thoughts that teenage boys have! I mean! In the west, we have so many popular songs that are literally only about sex and objectifying women! In my country, many of the folk songs are filled with metaphors for having sex (one that comes to mind right now: put the car, take out the car, whenever I want, such a tight garage, such a sweet woman, take it out early, put it at night, and sometimes in the afternoon, I was even changing the oil in the neighbour's garage - this is roughly translated but the meaning is basically "I f*** my neighbour who has a tight v*****, I f*** her whenever I want and I even c** in her") I went on a tangent there but it frustrates me to no end when you get reactors that get weirded out by the lyrics and that stop reacting or listening to BTS because of this song when they literally listen to worse daily. I've seen it happen at least 3 times and I even got into arguments at the time because people are idiots🤣...so thank you for actually understanding the meaning of this song and appreciating it for the silliness it actually is!👏👏👏

I know I have an unpopular opinion about some of the lyrics. First, I found the reaction to be completely beyond what the relatively minor issues warranted and that they were done with malicious intentions. I don't find the song horrifyingly misogynistic. I do find some of the lyrics cringe worthy due to how they objectify women. I know there was no ill intent, and I know how BTS respects women. The fact that they listened to the criticism (even if it didn't come from a good place), took it in, and did the work in reaching out to professionals so they could do better is extraordinary and one of the many reasons I have so much respect for them. Honestly, the work they did pushed me further down the BTS rabbit hole because, seriously, who else would do that??? No one I can think of, that's for sure. Those guys are really special people with big, kind hearts and I love them for that. All that being said, I love the song itself while also cringing so I admittedly have very complex feelings about it. This is just how I feel about it. I get why people are okay with it. I just ask that you respect where I'm coming from even if you don't agree with it. 💜

As far as I can see, this is perfectly normal behaviour for boys!! At that age as well. In the end the girl gets to choose doesn’t she. This is so funny though, the video is highly entertaining.
