Man ive watched so many reactions to Scruby videos, i love this cat and his music hes so good. Ive been waiting and waiting for someone to catch a specific reference (and yall didnt either, but its okay its a very specific reference lol) and i just may have to do my own video for it. Near the beginning he has a bar where he says "Crosstown like Yancy I will throw." Well, back in like....2012? Idk sometime around then, Xavier was Playing Cincinatti in college basketball and it was a very close, very heated game. Cal is from Ohio, and hes always mentioning or referencing Cincinatti in some way. In this game, a player named Yancy ran clear across the court to throw a punch at another player, which then started a whole brawl. Cincinatti University and Xavier University are BOTH in cincinatti ohio. Whatever school yancy was from, it was cross town from the other. "Cross town like yancy i will throw." Such a simple, very specific reference, but absolutely fucking 🔥🔥🔥
