Clutch is the real deal. Each album is different. Best lyricist in music.

Clutch is one of the most underrated bands in my opinion!! "Box car shorty's confession" "the regulator" "quick death in texas" "the devil and me" "DC sound attack" "fortunate son"

Probably one of the most underrated bands. Love the look of confusion that turned to rockin out! I had someone play this song while in Afghanistan and I was hooked. Such a great band! Another great song is ghost! Freaking rocks

Clutch does strange songs like Hot Bottom Feeder (which is literally a recipe for crab cakes set to song). I don't honestly think they are the best musicians I have ever seen, BUT they play at 110% and play to their strengths. They're not too flashy, but they play hard and that makes up for a lot.

The Harmonica player is Eric Oblander from the band Five Horse Johnson. Check out the song The Mystery Spot if you feel so inclined. It rocks

Great (partial) cover! One of the best. Neil Fallon admitted it himself. The original is "Fred's Worried Life Blues" with a splash of John Lee Hooker's "Boom Boom Boom".

Stumbled through that doorway recently. Glad I've got some company. Eric Church used this to warm up the crowd during his Outsiders tour. Can imagine how well that worked.

My band opened for Clutch at 9:30 Club, Ram's Head Live, Jaxx, the Norva, and the Fillmore in Silver Springs, MD., jeez, there was this Fish Head Live in California, MD too. Neil Fallon is a really good dude and supports local and regional acts. When we opened for them at Jaxx, he wanted us on as many bills possible in the Virginia/MD circuit. Good times, great memories. Saw Clutch in both Germany while I was in the Army and CONUS as well while in the 82nd Airborne Division at Ft. Bragg. Their show at the Flaming Mug caused a bar brawl. It was fuckin' great!

Hey, I heard you say that SKYNYRD is the best - well - time to get to the best of the best : I GUARANTEE that you will play this song - not once - but at least TWICE . DURING YOUR SHOW ! ! ! This is one of those songs in a million - that you never get tired of - NO MATTER how many times you play it . Get it - play it - play it again . Then tell me if it is the best of the best ... Thank you very much ! Oh - I am listening to you listening to The Breeze - and you said it again - THEY ARE the best ! I know You Ain't the One, but I bet you are Double Trouble - you know when a black cat cuts your trail - LORD they come in pairs of two ... Were you a Simple Man before Tuesday left ? You probably have a lot of Things Goin' On now that you are a Free Bird . Take care of that Mississippi Kid and stay away from the Poison Whiskey . If you can, please Gimme Three Steps for learning how to resist the temptations of going to the Jug and meeting up with Linda Lu . The Little Brown Jug was a bar, not far from the high school . Swamp Music - LYNYRD SKYNYRD . Hey - it's a simple song as far as lyrics but the band churns out the rhythm, bass and side riffs so busy and non-stop that it is very hard to concentrate on any part because there is so much goodness going on from each member . I promise if you listen to this song on headphones you will want to play it over and over at least 100 times . It is my favorite song of all time : The reason why I like this song so much is that every member of the band is steadily slamming out the jam during the entire song . I can taste strawberry, peach, apple, raspberry, grape, cinnamon, cherry, banana, pecan, watermelon, avocado, persimmon, and fried bream . ( with salt and black pepper ) I would very much like a ' Second Helping ' ( Their Second Album 1974 ) I just listened to it 5 times after making this comment . Make that 6 times . I went to the same high school they went to - 10 years after them . Robert E. Lee High School They named the band after their gym teacher who kept bugging them about their hair . ( Leonard Skinner ) I have about 8 thousand mp3 files of about 40 rock groups from the 70 ' s . That is the only song I play - over and over and over - sometimes more than 10 times in a row .

This song sound pretty good - the problem is about the time it gets to the third verse - it gets quite monotonous - interest wanes . I don't really care if I hear it again ... I hope they have some other songs that have a change-up here - there and - anywhere during it's performance . For years - I listened to some of the stuff my kids were playing - and it was just like this . 3 verses - all the same - maybe a good part somewhere in the middle - but why would I listen to it more than once . It is not dynamic or fluid or rolling or rocking anywhere out of the bounds that it has set for itself ...
