One thing I always make of pointing out to folks whom thank vets for their service, is, to also thank the support groups of those vets and their sacrifice as well. The families and friends of those in the service. Those mothers who hold things together for the kids. Etc. y’all re heroes as well. God bless all those in service and that have served and their families. We the people, owe you much respect and gratitude.

Thanks for your service. I served in USMC as well from 1983-1990. It never goes away like you said, it spills over in your civilian life. I am now a critical nurse and still abide by Unit Core Country in my field. This song always brings tears to my eyes. Semper Fi Marine

I've been following Coffey Anderson's music long before his appearance in "Nashville Star" where he came 4th. Like prior he had wonderful songs like "Rock and Roll Sally" and "Memphis" and "Can I" and "Better Today" his most popular video. In any case, I kind of get the reaction circuit now where everybody gets the same song from a said artist. So suddenly you hear tens of reactions to "Mr. Red White and Blue" as far as Coffey Anderson goes as if he hasn't done anything else. But shouldn't this be an opportunity to explore more about him beyond "Mr. Red White and Blue". How about reacting to "All the Way to Texas"? It's from the same year (2014) and it's from the same "Boots and Jeans" album. And very rarely did reaction videos react to it. And it is a far better song, more touching, more universal. Coffey is from Bangs, Texas... The song is about cancer. Some time after this, his wife contracted cancer and she still suffers from it years on. So it hit home so close after the song.
