Copses voice is naturally really deep due to genetics, but along with a few other chronic health issues he has a condition called GERD that causes his stomach acids to rise up to his esophagus and burn his vocal cords which causes the raspiness, and eventually will probably cause him to lose his voice entirely. Most of his music is dark but don't be fooled, Corpse is the biggest sweetheart ever. Guy gives off straight up giant teddy bear energy and genuinely has one of the best laughs that I've ever heard. I highly recommend checking out him and more of his music, he's the coolest.

He even voiced a villain in a Funimation anime! (I forgot the name of it sorry) from what it seems like, he's referencing Misa from death note in this song.

The reason Corpse's voice is so deep is that his vocal cords are damaged from the severe case of GERD stomach acid escapes and burns the esophagus that is also the reason why his songs seem so short yes replay value but he loves to make music so he hurts his vocal cords if he talks for too long at once.
