Culture Club song Time ( Clock of the Heart ) is a good song. Also Church of the Poison Mind. Some of their earlier stuff had a good Afro-Caribbean beat influence. I think one of the reasons this song was so popular was because of the video, the visuals, costumes and bright colors. ( obviously the catchy beat too ) Do you Really Want to Hurt Me was probably their biggest hit.

This song's pretty good. It was a radio hit, and all that. But more importantly, this was during the early days of MTV, when music videos were a big deal, and when gender fluidity, transgender people, etc., were still considered quite shocking. Boy George's look, at this time in history, was extremely shocking to many people. It was one of the little things that helped shape LGBT history.

Boy George was the singer. You reacted to Annie Lennox awhile back, George was kind of similar in that his look like was very androgynous, but his sound was almost like pop r&b, if that makes sense. They were pretty popular in the early 80’s when MTV was starting to be big and when they showed music videos, not reality shows.

Must react to Cyndi Lauper, unique, wild with a great voice. Money Changes Everything, Change Of Heart were some of my favorite songs by her from the 80's & her 90's hit That's what i think.
