I remember the incentive for this track was after the first D12 record came out, haters in the press called them "Eminem & his band"... and D12 went, "What band? We don't play any instruments..." So they made this track in response. A serious D12 track - "How come" came out after that... It's tragic that the group splintered after the death of Proof... according to Em, he was apparently the key member who kept them all together.

Eminem's music always seems to have a personal message, almost motivational in some of them. Beautiful, Walk on Water, and Not Afraid are my personal top 3 favorites.
