What was a lovely but weepy song is now an anthem to the memory of undying love. Brilliant. I've never been able to settle on a favorite song of his - there are so many great ones - but, at least for now, this is it. Great vocals, great guitars, and great arrangement by Dan and Gabriel. A triumph. Great reaction! Thanks.

Agreed. My 'bedtime' experience has been that some of Dan's covers, although wonderful, are like taking a fast-acting high potency energy vitamin at the wrong time of day😃

Hey Nick, I hope you watch this a few times on your own after reacting as there is so much packed into this fast paced fantastic version it can take a few times to fully appreciate it. Thanks so much Nick for reacting to my request. I truly love Dan's version and to me it just sounded glorious. I agree that a little more lighting would have been nice. By the way, the guitarist recorded his part separately, but you couldn't tell, right? He is an excellent guitarist and I believe will be working with Dan more in the future. I have become obsessed with some of his covers of the symphonic metal band Manowar. Dan's version of the song Battle Hymn is so good and I would love to hear your reaction to it, or any of Dan's massive catalog of gems.

I love his power version and that he kept the traditional 'Celine' power line' in her tempo And Then gave it a big Broadway finish! What an energetic, get up and Go and Do Something rendition! LOVE this!

Great reaction thank you! This kind of song metamorphosis is Dan’s absolute specialty. He takes the least likely of songs and transforms it. He knows exactly where and how to make it metal and poof it’s now amazing! I never liked this song but Dans version I could listen to all day long. I love the power and triumph he’s turned it into. He has no limits…not a one! 🔥

Dan’s gleeful smile during this one just makes me happy! I never saw Titanic-I already knew how was going to end-and I have never heard the full song until Dan’s version. I love it! I’m more apt to replace “heartbreak” with anger, so the driving beat of this appeals more than a sappy one. Victor the Guitar Nerd has joined a band (it’s Swedish, I think, and I can’t remember how to spell it), so I’m wondering if Garrett will now be his go to for guitar. Great reaction, Nick!

I believe the guitarist is not in Dan’s studio since he lives in the States and Dan is in Brazil. Garrett just has a simple black background set up as well as similar lighting.

Great reaction. Dan took a sad ballad and turned it into an anthem. And you're absolutely right, Garrett J Peters rocked that guitar! Unlikely they were in the same studio. Garrett is from Southern California.
