One of the big magazines showed a video of Davina covering Pinks What About Us to Pink and her reaction was "Now I know how it's supposed to sound. " Within 2 months she had appeared on every major radio/ television show in the Netherlands. By the time Pink made it to the Netherlands, Davina already had earned a #1 there and was her opening act. She did a separate video crediting Pink for her sudden success and told that story I just retold here. Stay happy healthy and safe. Enjoy.

Omg I’m from the Netherlands and I LOVE Davina! I really love the song what put her on the top charts in her own country and especially the song duurt te lang - beste zanger! Dressed in men's clothes, going to informal clothing, destroying the mirror into pieces, getting rid of her make-up. Davina always puts so much symbolism in her production to support the text. I love the way she did the interval act of the Eurovision Song contest. You have to be Dutch to fully understand the depth of that song and the visuals. But it is deep.
