They have a lot of different styles they can go from extremely heavy to extremely psychedelic to even pop, I would recommend Headless or Rosemary by them

hi. Digital Bath is another excellent song on this album. The drumms sounds so clean. Also the beginning is great, almost like the two hits of My Own Summer, another great song by the band. Those two hits have stayed in my mind since I heard them back in 199...... So simple and so effective.

I know you've gotten a lot of comments recommending digital bath, I think cherry waves would be very rewarding to listen to. It's so different and unique, and shows off a lot of Chino's vocal range. Great reaction!

Actually, I am also intrigued. The overall sound of the song was very relaxing. I also was not blown away by the whole performance but did really like his voice too. His voice reminded me of someone but could not put my finger on it. Unlike you, it will be days, if ever, that it pops into my head.🙄 Very glad I decided to check this out. I had never heard a song from them either, to my knowledge.

The singer of Deftones(chino) has stated that Depeche Mode is one of his biggest influences. So, maybe his voice reminded you of them?

Hi :) New Deftones fan here! I definitely can't speak much on their discography since I'm making my way through all of their albums, but I do want to recommend "My Own Summer" and "Be Quiet and Drive" which are off their 1997 album "Around the Fur." Both were hits and that album is currently my favorite from them. You may also enjoy their song "Diamond Eyes" which comes from the album with the same name. It was released in 2010.

this song was used in the movie Queen of the Damned. Just an ok movie, but it did have an amazing soundtrack. The original motion picture soundtrack for the film was Jonathan Davis' first musical project outside of his band, Korn. Originally, he was supposed to perform vocals on the soundtrack, but due to limitations in his record label contract with Sony, prohibiting his voice to appear on disc, he could not. Jeff Scott Soto was subsequently hired to do the vocal work, but didn't make the final cut either. Instead, five of Jon's friends from other bands were chosen. I'd be interested in your reaction to the full soundtrack.

Could you possibly be thinking of one song by System of a Down? Thats what keeps coming to my head. Also you should definitely check out koi no yokan by deftones. Definitely one of my favorite albums and if I had to choose what songs to check out it would have to be, Swerve city, rosemary, or romantic dreams :)

They did start of as Nu metal but then they changed their sound because they were fed up of having to be lumped into that genre

Maynard is the one you have to watch. Tool, perfect circle, he’s got an amazing voice. Passenger is an awesome song by Deftones ft Maynard too but with tool you have to take a few days to really dive into, and you won’t regret it.

What system of a down song? The only thing ive heard from them that might be similar is lonely day, which came out 5 years after this (toxicity came out a year after white pony)
