Not a demon but a Goddess, Diana Ankudinova a true polyphonic Contralto, the most unique powerful and easily the best female vocalist in the world and in all honesty i have heard plenty of people that sound like Dimash, THERE IS NO ONE that sounds like Diana. Everything you hear from her will be a new experience for you, she does not joke around, she challenges and recreates music each time she opens her mouth. You can say superlatives all day for other singers but for her they are just not enough. She is the "Queen of goosebumps" and a monster vocalist, or i should most probably say a Godly vocalist. She was 18 years old when she sang "Can't help falling in love", she is 20 years old now and she has been singing since 5 years old. Do not be afraid to listen to her at any age because even from the age of 10 she could easily challenge any adult singer. Her catalog is huge and everything is top quality so i am having trouble on what should i recommend to you first. Try to listen to her at 14 with "Rechenka" or "Derniere Danse", at the age of 15 with "Wicked game" or "Human", at 18 with "Oh it is not yet evening" or "ВОРОНА" (Crow), at 19 with "California Dreamin'" or "Fly away on the wings of wind", at 20 with Baikal or "The day you...". All these are just the beginning, you journey is gonna be a wild one. I also want to add something here at the end. You mentioned that "God has favorites", i would like to invite you to learn a little bit about her personal story, there is a Wikipedia article and also a video called "Find your self" The inspirational story of Diana Ankudinova. Choose whichever and you will realize that in this case God did not play favorites he just balanced things out. Nothing was given to Diana, she earned everything every bit of the way. The youngest of all the competitors, she had to win the votes of the other contestants. Yet this performance only skims the surface of her abilities. Don't be afraid to look back at some of her earlier performances, even at the age of 14 or 15. She shook judges and audiences time after time, and she does it in many languages, although she only speaks one. Here are three reasons why Diana (the Queen of Goosebumps) doesn't sound human. First, she is a contralto, which is the absolute rarest type of female voice. It allows her to sing very dramatic/powerful, very (I mean VERY) deep, very dark, very rich. Second, she has a spectacular larynx. She's been called the vocal Eighth Wonder of the World. Third, she is polyphonic, which means she can produce multiple harmonics within her voice at the same time. This is what allows her to sound like two people at once. (more below) When you add all that up you basically get a person who creates her own auto-tune. She doesn't need electronic auto-tune. She IS her own auto-tune. And the effect when you hear her is totally mind-blowing. It's like she's singing right through you, like a sword straight into your soul. Literally NOBODY else on the planet has a voice like hers. She's not one in a million, she's one in eight billion. Having watched well over 100 initial reactions to her, only one did NOT say she was "unique". You're hooked!!!

I’m so delighted that you were able to check this amazing artist (IMO). I saw your reaction on her fan page. After almost 6 years of listening to her I never get tired of her music and listen almost daily. “Rechenka “ on the show “You Are Super” when she was 14 is a must see if you enjoy the unusual. Another amazing artist who was Dimash’s mentor on the show “Singer” in China. It’s a professional singer competition. Hua Chenyu is the most influential artist in China. His concerts sell out in minutes. “Nunchucks “ is probably one of my many favorites and gives you an idea of what he can do. I’ve listened to music for over 60 years now and never have seen or heard anything like these three amazing vocalists. Great comments as usual and yes she did win this competition as well over 50 more. I do feel that if she chooses to continue she is going to be, if not already a legendary singer. Diana was 18 here, competing with seasoned, famous singers, and this was her first performance (of nine) of the show. Quite an entrance to make :) A good place to start the Diana rabbit hole is to watch some of her early TV performances when she was 14 or 15 (Wicked Game, Derniere Danse, Rechenka, Blizzard), then watch some of her recent stuff. Diana has a huge catalogue, though. Everything is interesting and most is insanely good, spine tingling, mesmerizing. Enjoy!

You have just listened to what may be a true contralto. “Diana Ankudinova, A Russian National Treasure” (My opinion), I have been following her for a while. She is another very interesting story that you will discover. Wait until you hear “Wicked Games”, “Take On Me”, "Human" or "Rechenka" Even though it is in Russian you still feel the emotion behind it.
