No one goes home disappointed after witnessing Dimash sing in person, especially when it's as emotionally charged as this performance. Probably my favourite version of this one. He really does give his all. Saying that i truly believe Dimash is born, lives a life, and dies with every performance! 🦌🥰

Yeah Adagio is an amazing performance. 😅🥹🤣 Perhaps a wee bit intense but our beloved Dimash lives in a vocal world of many colours.😅🤣🥹🤣🤣 I so feel the falling out of your chair moment. I was one of those Dears that fell hard in the beginning. Up all night for days watching Dimash. On the 3rd night I was watching a Dimash video in the dark at 4 am and missed the second last step on the stairs. 🫤 Yup, Woke up everybody🥹😂🙄🤣 I was watching his cover of Lionel Ritchie "Hello" which he did as a guest to this same show, a year later. The lyrics of this song were written by his idol Lara Fabian. He got inspiration from her. They also performed together in a trio with Aida from the song “ Ti Amo Cosi “. Of course DIMASH always is sublime. He is the best of the best. Thank you for the great reaction.

Adagio [aˈdaːdʒo] ("G" pronunced as in "judge") is the slow part of a musical composition. The idea of the song is that he keeps waiting and hoping while everything seems to go slowly as in an adagio played on a piano. Adagio is an italian word, that means "Slowly". This is also used in music to define the pace of a music (a bit slow, between lento and andante) and also as a name of a piece of a sonata, concerto or symphony that is using that specific pace. The music from this song of Lara Fabian is a pop translation of an italian classic piece called "Albinoni's Adagio". It was written in 1958 by Remo Giazotto who was an admirer of Albinoni, a musician from the 17th/18th century. He claimed it was from him and gave his music this name but there is consensus today that he most probably has composed it himself. The classic music piece is globally famous and there were many different translations into different songs, with different music compositions, mostly operatic, and different lyrics (Daniele Licari, Sarah Brightman and Sissel Kyrkjebo for instance). But the most famous version, by far, is Lara’s version: it was translated into a pop song for her, she wrote lyrics in italian then co-wrote the english lyrics for it and is the original performer of these 2 versions. She kept the title Adagio and wrote a story with a double meaning: a woman that is awaiting to find her love / an artist that is awaiting the god of inspiration. This song has become a classic and has been covered by many : Shirley Bassey (!!), Dimash (Lara is his absolute idol and he covered several of her songs), Floor Jansen, Polina Gagarina, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Julie Anne San Jose, Giulia Falcone, Laura Bretan, Il Divo, Rimar, Vitas, Anastasia Luna, Evgenia Fanfara, , … They made great covers but none of these match the amazing storytelling performance of Lara, or her ability to use vocal subtleties to be in sync with the music, exposed in her live from the concert From Lara with Love. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mKLShGCBhLGJlZY Her italian version is also amazing.
