Dude, you're way off on the lyrics and it's kinda skewed your understanding of the song. He's saying "Wake up! Are you alive? Will you listen to me?" Most of the song, the singer (David Draiman) is basically playing the part of the devil on the guy's shoulder; trying to get him to give in to his darker impulses. Then at the very end, this switches and Draiman sings a bit from the guy's perspective, trying not to give in. This is where you hear the argument "I can hear the voice but I don't want to listen. Strap me down and tell me I'll be all right. I can feel the subliminal need to be one with the voice and make everything alright". Basically it's following a man who's been pushed to the absolute limit, by people who see him as something to be used and/or abused, trying had not to snap and give in to the dark "voices" of temptation. It's almost a precursor to Down with the Sickness, which starts off at the point when someone completely snaps and gives over to the demon within.

You missed the point of the lyrics entirely. The song is about a man with inner voices (said voices played by the singer) telling him to do bad stuff, probably kill people ("Someone is gonna die when you listen to me"), but the guy is struggling to not succumb to these voices ("I can hear the voice but I don't wanna listen, strap me down and tell me I'll be alright, I can feel the subliminal need to be one with the voice and make everything all right").
