Guitar player is Warren Cuccurullo. He was also a bodybuilder and was the guitar player for Frank Zappa (a very big deal). The same job Steve Vai used to have. He plays rhythm guitar on "Watermelon in Easter Hay" which I want played at my funeral.

Then he'd look around and realize he was the only one there with clothes on. 😂 The man actually made the statement that clothes are overrated. 😅 Warren was the only American, from Brooklyn no less, in the midst of these..kinda classy... (don't get it twisted, DD are a bit perverted in their own "artsy" way) and proper English guys. In many ways, he stood out like a sore thumb amongst them.

@@rodb9275 Roger left the band in 85 right around the same time as Andy and didn't join back up with them till their original line up reunion in the early 2000s when both he and Andy came back on board. Warren was the guitarist for DD for a good 10 year or so period, but he was never really made an "official" member of the band, more of an honorary member. They had various studio musicians that filled in a drummers during that time, but none of those stuck around or had as much influence in Duran Duran as Warren did. The dude our BF is talking about is most definitely Warren. She spotted the freaky deak in him immediately and gravitated right to him. 🫣😂

Thank you for both reacting to my fav band since I was a little kid ❤; but also for causing me to laugh my a- off after talking about that outfit. So many reactors on this vid have complimented her outfit, including that hat - or lampshade (which is the best description I've ever heard 🤭😂🤣), & the dress. This was pretty much the only thing I disagreed with them on, given most luv'd this song - vocally instrumentally, & lyrically (written by main lyricist & lead singer: Simon Le Bon - who's always been my fav member & celebrity crush back in school; as I couldn't get over those big beautiful blue eyes, plus his incredibly lovely & unique voice…mmmm, so yummy 🤤😍) Sorry, back to the dress with that overly long & stiff horizontal bow, which looks like you could hold on & hang from it at a playground; or she could use it as an extra appendage to slap the crap outta ppl if her hands were full, just by quickly twisting her body to the side - particularly if she felt someone did anything wrong or poorly during "her" ceremony… I honestly don't get the appeal🤷‍♀️ Anyway, I hope you'll continue reacting to their 40+ years, & not just their 1st decade when they had the most hits on the main charts, since they love playing & making music from different genres, as well as combining them. So I'll wait to recommend anything, after seeing which songs you've picked, esp those you've liked most. Yah! You got your toes a tiny bit wet, but you haven't even touched the tip of the iceberg with this band. They have been around for 40+ years, still releasing music and touring to sold out shows, their fanbase, known as Duranies, (which I proudly admit to being) are a bit rabid. Depending on the decade and iteration you look into with DD, you never know what you will be in for. This is the 1993 version with the original guitarist and drummer missing. Little Elvis is Warren Cuccurullo. He was previously known for being in a band called Missing Persons. They all seemed to have an aversion to clothing. 😂😅 If you want to see him shirtless check out Too Much Information from his Duran days. Personally, for this band, I would start at the beginning, because they were HUGE in the 80s. Literally called the second coming of the Beatles. I recommend..anything..really, you can't go wrong, but maybe check them out live during their heyday. Careless Memories, from the concert film As the Lights Go Down. 😉
