‘Bastard’ is a swear word here in the uk however, you’d never call someone born from un married parents as a ‘bastard’ it’s more so used when someone does something annoying/bad. It’s not a very bad insult, someone would say ‘bastard’ at an inconvenience at work around the house type of deal

This is 2009 EMINEM. This was like two years before Amy Winehouse died. He wanted her on Relapse, but she turned it down saying that neither of them were in the right spot in their career for that with him fresh out of rehab and her getting ready to go back in. That’s why he pokes fun of her here and in the We Made You video. As far as Christopher Reeves he died in 2004, but at that point EM was so far into the drugs that he didn’t even know. This freestyle came out shortly before the album came out. He did another freestyle admitting he didn’t realize Reeves died until like late 2009.
