What else is new with the sampling...they don't give credit to the people they're taking it from leaving a lot of rap fans thinking it's their creativeness and it's NOT. I do not see like oh how nice two different genres coming and working together yes it is...as long as long as due is given where it's deserved. See these guys are not musicians ,don't play instruments so have to take from the people that do. ...

I love how Eminem raps in layers. You get into the song initially which is like the beat and initial shock layer. But there's also all the relevance to current times layers where he name drops/insults. There's the comedy layers too. And there's the layers that are sheer power and word play. Those bring you back into the song time after time to check for the things you missed before.

I luv the Abracadabra beat he's using cuz I personally luv the song he's sampling and I use to hear it on the radio cuz my mom was young but appreciated all music and played alot of oldies so I grew up luv Steve Miller and I feel the people who don't vibe with some of Eminems beats is cuz they don't know where it's from its just lk his song Alfred I see people thinking he means the dude from batman and say they don't lk the beat don't understand it but as a horror fan and huge movie buff I know tons of the greatest movies ever made and Hitchcock is a Legend. So when they don't understand that that actually comes from his show, then I understand why they don't get it because they're missing the biggest point so it kinda makes me sad when I hear people totally not get what's going on in the song because they don't know what the references are. In this song is actually an amazing Beat is an amazing beat for a song called Houdini. Because what did did Houdini a magician say Abra Cadabra.but u don't nd to lk everything I'm a stan and proud to be but I ain't the crazy ones that flip if they don't feel as I do I only feel lk if the person understands what was being done and used in the song for a reason it might make them change their minds or not but at least they would understand what they are hearing and then and only then can they give a fair review believe me idk about alot of movies from the late 30s and 40s so I educated myself on them and tbh Hollywood is only spitting out remakes over and over again it's lk no one has a creative bone in their body that's why I enjoy em and dre and so many more cuz they are true artists

Slim Shady is back! The beat and chorus is a sampling of the pop song Abracadabra by Steve Miller Band from 1982. Really nice flip. Cacti is the plural form of cactus. Also cutting it short to fit the rhyme scheme. "the kidnappin never did happen like Sherri Panini" - Sherri Panini faked/staged her own kidnapping in up in northern California back in 2016. The name of the comedian at the end is Pete Davidson.

I love how Eminem uses these songs as a marketing tool. Goal isn't to make the best song possible, but to just get normal people that otherwise wouldn't listen to his music talking about it and him. So he makes it catchy, silly, throws in a few lines to get people talking, and then just sits back and lets the song lure people into checking out the rest of the album. I'm surprised more people haven't taken a page from his book and pulled this same tactic.
