The whole album is nutts. Props to whoever recommended it. This arguably his greatest album of all time. For so many phenomenal reasons. It’s to equal and opposite of the Eminem Show for reasons that very hard to explain except for the fans who were following his first 3 albums and all the controversies of the impact he had on white suburbia and the impact his fame had on his personal life. All of which is brought up and why it’s called the Eminem “Show.” It opens with the curtains and closes with the curtains, and the cover is him behind the open curtain. Do yourselves a favor and listen to each album entirely and maybe you’ll kinda understand the energy of times back then. Then the Ringer makes a whole lot more sense of a white hip-hop artist the criticism and preconceived notions he had to over come from get-go. You cannot be wack if want respect in the game. Thus, the first verse of The Ringer.
