Fun fact: Skit took so long to make bc of background noise that Mel-Man said Dre’s line bc he was too drunk to say “don’t kill nobody” 😂 Always looked at skit as analogy for Em destroying other rappers on their own songs. He didn’t mean to kill them; it’s just something he must do. Detroit gives you a battle attitude bc every time you tell someone you’re from there, they’re gonna say something derogatory about the city you love. Versace was shot and killed by a serial killer while he was checking the mail. He was also gay (male). I always enjoy when he’s purposely offensive just as a big middle finger to those who criticize and protest his lyrics. This was him doubling down on the LGBT groups that protested outside his concerts because of his use of the F slur that was common in rap at the time & with context unrelated to sexuality.
