Not true. Slim Shady was an underground nickname he had, this was before his split personality Slim Shady was created but not before he was actually called Slim Shady. This also never sold well because he sounded like a rip-off NAS, which is why he changed going into the 2000s.

Em has some great songs, but i think this is my favorite Em song of all time. it's not his best lyrically, but it's my favorite. this song is nearly perfect from lyric to flow to production to overall delivery. my favorite part of the song is the "imitator, intimidator" run near the end of the 2nd verse

As much as ppl might disagree, i think Bugz killed Em in that song. It's highly unfortunate he was murdered before D12 became a group. Bugz woulda been great in D12. Eminem - Mosh (2004) - HYPE tune Eminem - No Apologies (2007) - Masterpiece, recorded around the time (just after I believe) he almost overdosed. I could go on all day. I’m glad you guys have delved into his pre Dre stuff. To many of us older em fans his music from 96-07 (pre overdose) is what makes him considered as great as he is.
