I think you'll find Pentatonix attracts fans from every decade. I was born in the 50's, so my music is from the 60's. My heart belonged to the Beatles, but I also enjoyed some of the softer sounds of folk/rock like Simon & Garfunkel, Joan Baez, Peter, Paul & Mary, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, and of course, the great Bob Dylan. Also the Beach Boys, the Mamas and the Papas, and one of the edgiest of that cohort, Janis. So much great music during those years. And I'm Canadian, so I have a soft spot for our native son, Gordon Lightfoot, who is still touring after 50+ years!

I was born at the end of the 60's, was in high school in the mid-80's, and graduated college in 90. My music tastes were shaped by my brothers who were a decade older than me. I grew up on Earth Wind & Fire, Chicago, Heart, Styx, The Eagles, Kansas, Aerosmith, and Three Dog Night plus a bunch of jazz, then I added in The Police, REM, Duran Duran, Rush, Dire Straits, The Cars, Blondie, Foreigner, Prince, Journey, Boston, The Cranberries, Billy Joel, Peter Gabriel, Michael Jackson...other stuff. I was born in the late 1940s, in Chicago. Now I live in Delaware (hence my name here, the Delaware Guy), retired after being a college music professor for 40 years. I taught History of Music among other things, so I'm a lover of classical music, which, yes, does go back to the 1600s and before! I also taught History of Musicals and that's my other musical love, the great writers for theater and movies of the 1920s through 1950s, the period (before the new beats took over in the 60s) when theater and movies where where the top hit songs came from. I was born in July of 2000 (almost 22!) I was born and raised in Ohio but I did live in STL for 3 years since I was 18. Recently moved back to Ohio with my mom. My family is a very musical bunch. At least my mother's side. All of my mom's brothers and sisters can sing very well, so can my grandparents. My mom has a beautiful voice too. My family was raised in the church so we all have a gospel background for our music tastes. My mom's older brother is an Opera singer who travels the world all the time. Born in '83, and gifted with parents who wanted to share the wide array of music with me. I grew up listening to so many different genre's that I don't even know what my favorite is (who am I kidding, it's probably Under Pressure (Queen/Bowie)). Parent's had vinyls of Nat King Cole, Pink Floyd, the Beetles, Etta James, and more. They taught me to love early rock and pop music, classical (Chopin, Mozart, etc), country, jazz, and soul. Developed a love for hip hop and dance music in the 90s, trance and techno in the 2000s, and more with time. There's a special place in my soul for Korean pop and rap, as well as Japanese rock and pop (slip me in there for just about ANY heavy metal, if I'm honest with myself). Basically if it's got a beat I enjoy, I'll get into it, no matter the language.
