Thanks great song. This is about the relationship between the lead female singer and the lead Male singer and guitarist. He and she wrote songs to each other communicating, he responded to this with another two song . Dont stop and go your own way . Big hits . They broke up and both wrote later song about each other , edge of 17 from her and looking out for love from him , great songs , they continued working together for years. ( they meet in school she was 17 he was 16 )

They had 3 lead singers at the same time Lindsay buckingham- male lead and guitar Stevie nicks-female lead,lead singer on this song Christine mcvie-female lead vocals (not on this song) and piano Peter green-lead vocals and influential guitars from an earlier incarnation of the band. Not part of the band by the time this lineup was formed
