Seriously, man....Fleetwood Mac are straight-up legends. They changed their sound many times over the decades and it always sounded great. Top top notch band! I also enjoyed the solo works of the various band members....Buckingham, Nicks, and Mcvie have great solo careers. Check it out!

@angelaswanson1077
@angelaswanson1077 3 жыл бұрын
@@emorsi that is not exactly what happened. He was making many demands that the band wouldn't adhere to. He wanted to go on that tour later than they were planning but it would've interfered with Stevie's solo concert that was happening after the FM tour. So, it created issues, once again, between Stevie and Lindsey. She won the argument and he was fired.

@@angelaswanson1077 ...ah okay, it's good to have the facts on the table. If you see an interview with Lindsay on the matter he, of course, tells another story. Basically is, that he seems do not know why there was any kind of problem at all. Something along that line...

Rumours is a phenomenal album, with "The Chain" being my favorite tune from this album. It's interesting that you said it would make for a perfect song on a road trip, because when any of my friends from Florida (my former home state) come to visit me in San Diego, I crank up this song as we cruise along Pacific Coast Highway, it's a perfect combination. Few rock bands have ever brought so much talent. This band had three great lead singers who were all great song writers. Buckingham and Nick's were a couple when they joined, broke up, and proceeded to write all of their (mostly bitter and heartbroken) songs about each other. Christine McVie was the keyboardist and wrote and sang lead on a lot of their softer radio hits. Buckingham was an amazing but mostly pretty restrained guitarist. He showed off a bit more when they played live, and they were one if the best live performing bands of their era.

Only problem was this was a 7,000 mile journey, so we heard everything a zillion times. I think Rumours was the most-played album out of the whole lot though. This is one of those songs where you can’t stop listening to it until it’s over.

Mick Fleetwood drums and back up vocals, John McVie bass and back up vocals, Christine McVie keyboard and back up vocals, Lindsey Buckingham lead guitar and vocals, Stevie Nicks tambourine and the most amazing lead vocals...aka...Fleetwood Mac.

I always wished the second half of "The Chain" was a little longer too, but it's still an all-time great. I've always loved how everyone in Fleetwood Mac took turns singing and playing different instruments, as well as writing the songs. Talk about a collection of talent. I would recommend just looking up "The Very Best of Fleetwood Mac" compilation album they released a long time ago and listening to it in its entirety. They have an enormous collection of hits that span multiple decades, band lineups, and sounds/genres.

This is my favorite Fleetwood Mac song, Jayvee! Thanks for doing it. You might want to try Fleetwood Mac "Tusk" official video, then do the live version from the Dance Tour DVD. It is here on KZbin as well & very good audio quality. There is a surprise in both versions. Hope you take a listen!

Dude i find it awesome you checking out Fleetwood Mac, although i must say I did giggle a bit when you said "new to this channel". Granted they are new to you and I appreciate you giving them a shot, for me though , its been a good 43+ years

I just love your reaction. Fleetwood Mac at their very best. Especially when the bass kicks in. These videos make me appreciate all those songs I love so much even more. Thank you 👍🏻

You need to read the back story behind this album and the group members. Every song tells one more part of the events that would eventually destroy this band.
