This is an actual thing in Catholic schools with students (or was at least) and is actually called gods loophole. This song is shocking but is also excellent satire about the rationalizations we use to fit religion into our lives while avoiding sacrifices. Shocking satirical humor is one of the best tools to get us to think about something because we laugh while feeling slightly uncomfortable at finding it humorous. This slight unease leads us to take a deeper look at ourselves as well as at what made us laugh and what it actually means.
