Since u are new to her, b4 Gigi Vibes became popular, they were a party/wedding band. When the pandemic happened, they had no gigs bc the lockdowns in the Philippines was extreme, as in everything was closed down for a very very long time. They were broke & depressed, so they decided to do livestreams on KZbin & FB from a garage, 3x a week for 2-3 hours, taking song requests. They slowly gained viewers, & 3 yrs later, now have over 2 Million subs. They moved out of the garage into this new studio late last year. Most of the videos on their channel are part of their livestreams (like this one) with a handful of videos that are studio versions. They are in the US now doing an 11 city tour & will go to Canada in May.

She's not really singing pop punk/rock music a lot. But she did this after coming back from medical condition concerning her voice. So she kinda rest for quite a while. THIS is how you do a cover. Close your eyes and listen because Gigi sounds just like Hayley Williams. Gigi even puts the nuances of almost "chewing" her words. But without going gimmicky or hoaky. Shout out to the band too, as always, they just murder this because Paramore, musically speaking is a hard to cover. Can you believe that during the pandemic, they used to livestream for 3 to 4 hours, taking requests. That's how they go through the pandemic and supporting their families. This is a newer one and they don't do as much livestreaming because they're now out touring and gigging. So we grew up not listening to certain things because it's not what you are. but look at what's happening over there, all the kids grow up to karaoke singing old school songs where if it was here we'd get laughed at.
