The song is about Deft, a player who has always been the shadow of Faker (the GOAT of League) since they both were in highschool (they went to the same school un 2012) Deft always failed to win Worlds despite being one of the best players on the history The video also features Pawn, who was his mentor, since both of them were in the Samsung sisters teams (Pawn on Samsung White and Deft on Samsung Blue), in 2014 semifinals White defeated Blue and Pawn consolled Deft after the match Also features Meiko, his best friend, Deft and Meiko won 2015 Mid Season Invitational (the second most important tournament) and later Meiko won the 2021 World Championship Later apears Doran and Keria (two rookies superstars with great potencial), they were Deft's teammates on 2020, but they got completely demolished on Korea's Finals and Worlds Quarterfinals by Damwon who after that would win 2020 Worlds After the Quarterfinals Keria and Doran promised Deft that they'll make him Worlds one day After not qualifying for Worlds 2021 Deft considered retirying but DRX team manage to somehow convince him to play one more year before going to the Korean Obligatory Military Service DRX would finish 6th that season, Meanwhile Doran would conquer the korean league after beating Keria's team on the finals and Meiko with his team would finish 3rd on the Chinise league and all of them would Qualify for Worlds 2022 DRX somehow managed to qualify as the final for Worlds after a miracle run DRX then finished first on the groups and will have to face EDG with Meiko, the current title defenders On Deft birthday, EDG will lead the series 2-0 after Deft fails to win the second game because the nexus survives at 1 Hit. DRX would not give up and finally won the series 3-2, after more than 7 years, on the day of his birthday, Deft avances to the semifinals again But in semifinals was Doran, his former teammate, with the best Korean team, the favourites to win the tournament, but DRX did the imposible and won the series 3-1 Finally in the finals, Deft will have to face Faker, who always had outshined him, and his former teammate, Keria. After a close series, the best final in the League History, DRX won 3-2 and Deft would lift his first worlds title Also Deft became the first player to win the four most important titles, Worlds, Mid Season Invitational, Chinese League and Korean League. 6 months later, another player called Ruler would also conquer the four titles (Really a player called Duke did it first but he was a substitute and barely played) Sorry for the long text

You can tell The LoL Music Production team worked on it. Star Walkin was entirely done by Lil Nas X, But this one, I can hear Mako music production, as seen in Burn It All Down, Take Over and Rise. Mako makes majority of all LoL Songs for Worlds

The history in this video is about korean player Deft and his journey throughout Worlds (biggest tournament in League that brings together teams from all over the world) and his desired victory in Worlds 2022. It starts with the image of him going to the same high school as Faker (literally GOAT of the League of Legends), Mapo High School in Seoul. Then we switch to the moment when he first starts grinding and getting better in league, thats also his rookie year in the team called MVP Blue (the golem he fights with is also called blue, that's a quite accurate reference) meanwhile in the background Faker attemps to kill baron and take his first Worlds trophy (in 2013). Next scene, when Deft is on the stage playing tournament in the colors of Samsung Blue team we see the fight between him on Lucian and PawN (his former teammate from team Samsung Blue) on Jayce. This is a reproduction of the situation from the match when the Samsung Blue and Samsung White teams clashed. PawN killed him in the same way as we can see in the video. That's his first defeat at Worlds in semi-finals. Deft leaves Korea and seeks for adventure in China. He joined Edward Gaming (EDG) in 2014. Guy sitting next to him is Meiko, EDG support. He plays in that team since today. In the video we can see them getting attacked by Rekkles, former ADC of Fnatic (currently sub support). Fnatic were fighting against them in quarter-final match and won with 3-0 score. That was 2nd time Deft got denied at Worlds. The moment when he pushes himself away from the desk and these fireballs flies around him represents his another fails to attemp and win Worlds (2016 lost in the quarters against ROX Tigers, 2017 in the new team - KT Rolster - failed to qualify, 2018 lost in the quarterfinals against IG [upcoming winner of Worlds 2018] and 2019 in the new team - King-zone DragonX - failed to qualify) Another team switch, this time Deft joins DRX. This time we see him fighting alongside his former teammate Doran (currently playing for Gen.G) against Dplus KIA Canyon (guy presented as Graves) and Showmaker (guy presented as Syndra). As Showmaker tries to attack Deft, Keria (currently support for T1 but played with Deft in the same team at that time) shows up, looks at him sadly and sacrafices himself so he can survive. But despite this he still falls and gets killed. That's another hit for Deft as he gets eliminated from Worlds 2020. 2021 he got eliminated in the quarterfinals once again when his new team, Hanwha Life Esport lost to T1 3-0. Deft after then became 1st player to play in 5 World Championships in 5 different teams. When he is undernath ice, he starts crying. At that time he thought that was his last chance of achieving something at Worlds, that he wouldn't have another one because he tried so many times and yet he still wasn't able to win. But it was about to change in 2022. That was the year when he and team of underdogs did something incredible, something that probably isn't gonna be repeated ever again. He gets lifted with his team on the platform to get in the arena and fight their way to the trophy. First, he fights EDG and his former teammate on support, Meiko. The game he played on Draven was actually game 3 when they were already losing 2-0 and did reverse sweep to finish with 2-3 and take the series. Next fight as before was against his former teammate Doran as Renekton. It was actually game 4 when Deft was playing Varus and that ended the series for DRX with 3-1 score. At the end there was a final boss, T1. With his former teammate Keria and classmate Faker. It was one of the best series that were played in this tournament and with the final roster on DRX with Aatrox, Hecarim, Azir, Caitlyn and Bard they made it and finished their underdog run with 3-2 score. Deft was finally happy and lifted his desired trophy. That was long but i hope i covered everythight that was unclear for people new in the League of Legends esport :) (Credit to AsdAsd-pm1ow to this comment from another reaction to this song)

For me Warriors and Legends Never Die are the classics and hard to beat. Just because they have set the standard of what a worlds song means, and any song after will be compared to those 2. Those 2 also had a special element most miss, but honestly can't blame any for missing that one element. Imagine Dragons (everyone except 1) and Chrissy Costanza (Lead singer of against the current) all play league of legends themselves, they are fans of the game and they damm know well what league players like. Also, while on this topic kind off, did you ever listen to wildfire from against the current? If you get the one from the channel LEC you will hear the song with 2 casters for the European league of legends championship.

As a long time League fan I have to say this is certainly a marked improvement over last year's "Anthem," but I still wouldn't really consider this to be "League Anthem" worthy. It's a great, catchy song, don't get ut twisted. It's just not an anthem. It needs to go harder, be more hype with the chorus, something that DROPS into something the crowd can really shout out loud. Two perfect examples of this, imo, are Legends Never Die and Burn It All Down. Not a bad song, just not really Worlds Anthem.

when it comes to league as far as i know theres only a few live stuff you havent watched yet. i would recommend the first wild rift worlds opening, i think that was 2021 but not sure. CBLOL of 2022 (thats brazils champion tourny for who gets to go to worlds), it is on normal worlds level so much so riot wants to do a worlds there, the question is when. and i would say MSI opening for 2019 (bring home the glory).

Day 147 of recommending the Beyblade openings. There are the Japanese ones and the English ones. The English version has one opening for a generation, and that for the 1st and 2nd generation. The 3rd gen has one op for one season. But the Japanese version has multiple ops for a season in any gen. You should definitely check both versions out. I made playlists on my channel, so you don't need to search, cause in those compilations are a few off and not in the correct order. Thanks for checking out!
