this band is great. the bassist sayaka and guiarist sakura are the 2 original members left from the original lineup formed in 2018. they added junna on drums - who by the way is an absolutely insane drum prodigy and the gorgeous vocalist nagi. they hopefully will make new music for a long time to come.

The guitarist (Sakura Yoshida) is a child prodigy on the guitar. She is an absolute freak. Also, she wrote this song, and she formed this band. Junna (drums) is a world famous. She is a monster. Thank you for featuring Hagane (pronounced HA-ga-neh). They have to be considered one of the hot, up and coming groups, though they had to go through a major reboot in 2023. They were originally a five-piece with dual leads; they have recently re-formed as a four piece (more on that below). The initial lineup came together in 2018, just as they were all finishing high school. Founding guitarist Sakura had been posting metal covers on youtube since she was 14, and gained notoriety as a technical beast with a taste for ferocious shredding. That is how most of the other band-members found her. Original lineup: Vocal: Chiemi Guitar : Sakura Yoshida (also writes and arranges most of the music) Guitar : Mayto Bass : Sayaka Drum : Kanako Takahashi (b. 2001) In 2019, Chiemi left and was replaced by Uyu. The band released three concert DVDs and a full-length album (“Code 9021”) during her tenure. In early 2023, the band announced the departures of three members-Uyu, Mayto and Kanako. They spent the next year rebuilding. They have re-formed as a four-piece, with the already famous Junna on drums. Junna was previously one of the original members of Kakumei (later rebranded as Trident), and has a popular youtube channel where she posts hyperactive solo drum covers of metal songs. New vocalist Nagi has replaced Uyu. This is her first professional gig. Hagane 3.0: Guitars: Sakura Bass: Sayaka Drums: Junna Vocals: Nagi Hagane are clearly playing in a similar space as groups like Mary’s Blood, Bridear, Nemophila and Lovebites-melodic, hard, heavy and technical. Early on, however, they developed their own signature sound, built around exotic scales, syncopated rhythms and the aforementioned high-octane shredding. Their songwriting is mature, far beyond what you should be able to expect from a bunch of people this young. The new lineup have released an EP, “Life Goes On”, with five tracks including an instrumental. Despite not having the dual attack, it looks like they haven’t lost a step-Junna is insane as ever on drums, and Sakura is just on fire. The drummer 'Junna' is world famous and was described by 'El Estapario Siberiano' as "The final boss of the drums." Surprised you have never heard of her. You really need to check her out more, her covers of ''Through the fire and flames' and 'painkiller' are legendary. She also goes into 'beast mode on ' Hero time' and 'life goes on' from the same EP. The rest of the band are equally phenomenal. Just subscribed.

A great all female Japanese band. They have gone through a major line up change. Of the Members who left - Uyu (Vocals) and Mayto (Guitar) went on to form Mana Diagram. KanKo (Drummer) went on to be the drummer for Yeti Valhalla,. But the whole band left him. She has been a support drummer for PaleNeO and other projects. New Members - Junna (Drummer)One of the best drummers I've seen in Japan, or anywhere. She was in the band later called Trident after she left and also her solo work. Nagi (Vocals) is pretty new on the scene but has a great voice. Guitarist Sakura is the creator of the band. The new music has lead and rhythm guitars in most of their new stuff here too. Bassist is Sayaka, who has her own KZbin channel. The previous version of HAGANE had 2 guitarist ( until 2023) SAKURA YOSHIDA founder and lead guitar ( composer) MAYTO Rythm Guitar ( now co-founder of MAGNA DIAGRAM with the ex HAGANE singer UYU) the previous drummer is KANAKO( Yeti Valhalla) and support drummer for PALENEØ. you can watch the great songs from this era BLACKCULT.

Hi thank you for your comment, I have a background in music and art. With my videos I tend to listen/analyse from both perspectives. I don't think I'm shallow but it's understandable for someone to think that if this is the first video of mine they've seen; I think I am more on the side of socially awkward. I am trying to improve my social skills by making videos like this and learning how to express myself better. Whether I make comments on the music or art direction just depends on what comes to my head in the moment as I want to make these videos as natural as possible, especially being my first time listening to it. Hope that gives you a bit more context to this particular video. :)
