Welcome to Home Free fandom!! They are absolutely amazing!! The lead tenor with the straw hat is Austin Brown (high tenor). Rob Lundquist (full beard guy with glasses) is 2nd tenor. Adam Rupp, is the beatboxer (and sound effects guy) is remaining co-founder of the group. Tim Foust is the bass, and Adam “Chance” (goes by “Chance” so there’re no confusion with Adam Rupp) is the guy in the back and at the end doing the jaw harp sound. He is a bass/baritone. I saw how surprised you were and how much you liked them and appreciate their talent and you noticed how cohesive they are as a group! If you want to react to more, you’ll probably see a jump in your subs since the “Home Fries” (fan base nickname) will find you and jump on board here. Check out “End of the Road” cover, and maybe an original song of theirs called “Dive Bar Saints”.

Never heard this song untl I started watching The Voice. A 15 yr. old kid named. Sawyer Fredricks sang it for his audition. As soon as I heard him, I said he's gonna win this show and he did. He also plays the guitar. Please Please Please listen to his version. He went back too the farm and still lives the simple life. He writes his own music. Made an album. So talented. Look him up.

The first singer is Austin Brown with the voice of an angel. Second fella with beard and glasses is Rob Lundquist....he also has a beautiful voice. The very last guy you see is Adam Chance...aka Chance . The bass singer is Tim Foust and he can go to the basement and beyond....just fooling around in this song. Lastly is Adam Rupp..known as the Freak of nature. He's a beat boxer, drum kit, and dj. All together you get five guys who enjoy what they do and are like brothers to each other. They can sing anything from pop, R&B, gospel, to country. They love to have fun and a lot of their videos show that, but when the song calls for a serious theme they do that too. They've done videos with a lot of country groups....including Kenny Rogers and Alabama. You'll love them if you give them a chance. They have a huge following. Great reaction and Thanks. Gonna subscribe...so will be checking back in.

I've discovered so many fascinating things on KZbin during this pandemic, reactors such as yourself for example . And the music has been amazing. I discovered Pentatonix a while ago now and that discovery led me to Home Free. I haven't been listening to them for that long but they blow me away every song. I'm sure more experienced 'Home Fries' as their fans are called, though now I can probably call me one too, will fill in a lot of missing blanks for you, but a few of their songs I can't seem to get enough of, this one, Mayday, Hillbilly Bones, Ring of Fire Nd another song they are a huge part of though another accapella singer did most of the arranging for, but the cover of Still Haven't Cound What I'm Looking for by U2. This song in particular makes me all weepy in a good reason I can't really explain. I highly recommend any of these songs Home Free sing. Dive into their musical world and you will be awed, I promise.

The buzzy sound at the very beginning and in the background - the jaw harp - was made by Adam Chance (he goes by Chance to be differentiated from Adam Rupp, the beatboxer.) He was in the back left corner in the dark vest. Baritone who goes bass when Tim, the basso profoundo, sings. Tim has a 5 octave range. Austin, lead in this song, is a counter tenor, Rob with the dark hair and beard, is tenor. They won season 4 of The Sing Off. This is a rabbit hole you are going to love!

You will find that many of the Pentatonix fans (Pentaholics) are also Home Free fans (Home Fries). I found Home Free after I found Pentatonix and I think of Home Free as the Pentatonix of country, gospel and rock. They also write their own stuff. The bass is Tim Foust and he is a force of nature. Avi Kaplan, the bass from Pentatonix, did a collab with Home Free - they did Ring of Fire. :o) It was intriguing to listen to the differences between the two stunning basses.

Thank you so much for sharing! I've never seen or heard them before and it's awesome! I love how the sound from the mountains has a spin on the blues. This song in particular. So many immigrants from the 1800s and beyond brought their instruments from Europe. They were held as extremely precious. Their history was woven into lyrics which were passed down to the next generation. Constant Sorrow has that timeless quality and hearing it sung by such talented men is such a treat! 😽💘
