This was filmed in the Austrian Alps when they were touring there. One of my favorites…it’s so beautiful. Tim is the bass, Chance is the baritone, Rob is a tenor, Austin is the high tenor and Adam is a tenor. He sang the “it is well”. So beautifully done. They have other songs without beatboxing like Brothers in Arms, Helplessly Hoping and more. Those are exquisite too.

Thank you for checking out Home Free. This rendition of a beloved old hymn has over 28.4 million views and is a favorite of many due to the beautiful harmonies as well as the scenery in the Austrian Alps. Home Free has a wide-ranging catalog of songs, although they are the first Country all-vocal band. The rich, full sound you hear throughout is all made by voices only-- no need for instruments. No beatboxing in this, but Adam Rupp is perhaps the best beatboxer ever and does a solo segment in each live show. Videos of some of these can be found on-line. You will be amazed. Anyone who doesn't do themselves the favor of checking into Home Free's large, varied catalog of videos is really missing out! Gail L.

Home Free brings a worshipful respect to their gospel music that is very reverentful and exudes honor the song is intended for. They are very intentional in this regard and it is not about them. Austrian Alps. They were on tour in Europe. The entire video was filmed by drone. There is no beatboxing, because in hymns, Adam sings. He has the largest vocal range in the group. As of 2024 (per The Range Place) Adam Rupp's Vocal Range is: B0 - G♯6 Tim's is close, at: B0 - A5 None of the rest of the guys come even close to being the longest-ranged singer in the group. Austin was also somewhat close (E♭1 - C6), but...Bastien is not (from the very limited info I have found at this time). I keep an updated chart on my own site, and it was just updated a few days ago, since Austin is now gone, and Adam Bastien is now the "alternate tenor." Unfortunately, he's not yet listed at The Range Place (or anywhere else I could find).
@AceofBadeReacts2 ай бұрын
I tried looking up The Range Place, but I only saw a couple of social links that haven't been updated in years. I'd be interested in seeing your information if you wanted to post a link (hopefully KZbin allows it)
@GrandmasGotGraceLW2 ай бұрын
@@AceofBadeReacts There's no way that YT will allow it. Unfortunately as well, The Range Place itself is undergoing spurts of "Maintenance Mode, since about two weeks ago. I can't get their most current info to you. The numbers that I have for Tim, Adam Rupp, and Austin are all from 2022. When I was able to get to them a couple of months back (in 2024), there had been no changes made. That means that nobody has posted anything with which to update those threads. In 2019, Tim had been listed as being able to go as low as A0, but in 2022, that lower note had been changed upward a single tone, to B0, which then matched Adam Rupp's lowest note. As far as Adam's range is concerned, he actually can SING all of those notes, but much more often, he's hitting them in the noises he makes during one of his really fun "beatbox solos" that he does on tour, while the others in the group get a short break. For Bastien (which is what he has chosen as his identification within Home Free), the only CLEAR reference I have is the first Home Free "Official" video with him, which just came out recently: "Something to Talk About." There are the live videos that have been posted, during a recent tour, but they're just not as clear as the official video. There will be more videos upcoming, naturally, and as I hear what Bastien sings during THOSE songs, I'll be able to update my chart fairly easily. I wish I could at least let you know how to get to the chart, but YT will do its thing immediately, if I do (sigh). If you check out my YT profile, you can find the chart listed under my 5 MORE listing, under the banner.

In the Princess Medley, the 5 women are soloists; in the Heroes/Villains Medley, the 6 men are soloists.
