I have a love/hate with this song. James is gifted in telling stories about real life and the trials he has been through. In my case it wasn't a miscarriage, my 1st wife and daughter were murdered. That kind of pain is beyond next level.

Definitely a fun version, and theatrical, which can describe a lot of their stuff, great job all around. Like Halloween, they dive into Christmas too, This year's release is "Zat U Santa Claus", original by Louis Armstrong. Geoff also dropped this year, a version of "Carol of the Bells". You've done Lindsey Stirling, she has versions of both , the Grinch and Carol of the Bells.

As others have probably said, during the parts where the "flakes" are going up, they are mouthing the words backwards, and then the video is reversed and they sing over it. There are only 4 words in the chorus, "I'll run to you", all one syllable and very round vowels, so it would not be too hard to do. It is a clever trick - wonder who thought of it. Really fun to see this video again with you two. Thanks for the great reaction.

#revelry A few months after Freeze The Fall first posted videos to KZbin Jessie reacted to two of those videos, and gave them a shoutout, and open invite to join him on a podcast. This led to them joining him on The Warning Teatro Metropolitan concert livestream he did. During this livestream Jessie brought up to the chat the possibility of people donating to help Freeze The Fall with recording costs. The chat thought this was a great idea, which led Freeze The Fall to launching a kickstarter. Jessie has been a big supporter of the band since he first heard them. Survive is a great song, and seems to be a really fun song to play. The Warning apparently lists it among their top five favorite songs to play. Freeze The Fall, and Jessie obviously had a great time doing this cover, and that is a big part of what music is about.

Technically the 3rd version of the song. A-Ha is a Swedish group. Their Hunting High and Low album was the product of a US producer discovering them. They re-arranged the song. The Sun Always Shines on TV is the sequel to this video but not as much animation. The 80's had a LOT of European bands that had big albums but then never charted in the US again but did very well back in Europe. A-Ha is still together today.

I have the original Band of Gypsies lp that I bought in the 70,s that this song was on. I also have the VHS of this concert that bought from Towew Records before they went out of business. It had a very good quality,and was dvd later. Buddy Miles had his on band. He sang two of his songs on this concert (Them Changes) and(We Got To Live Together)
