Arguably the one of the most sensuous songs ever written and Marty Balin's voice brings it to life.

The late great Marty Balin, one of the smoothest songs ive ever heard. This was before the addition of the great Mickey Thomas who did Jane.

loved this song as a teenager, didn't pick up on the racy lyrics back then. Beautiful song.

My favorite Jefferson Starship song. Marty singing lead with Grace leading the backup vocals along with Paul, Craig, David, Pete and John. Basically the entire band except for the amazing Papa John Creach on electric violin and Irv Cox with the iconic sax solo.

Marty Balin era of Starship was hands down superior.

This was the only good song they ever did, IMO.

"Jane" "White Rabbit"? I admit their catalog wasn't very deep in high quality, but those 2 were also really good.

@nealm6764 Surrealistic Pillow and Volunteers were good albums, Law Man, and Wooden Ships are great songs. I guess I meant in that smooth 70's era, where everyone was going all fretless bass and sparkly synths.
