She was a singer first before she started her rap career. The rap career did made her more well known. Now people knows her talent. She has been underrated so many many years before but she has made it. She had her official first solo concert not too long ago

In terms of killing voice, I highly recommend Heize, bibi, hyolyn, Bol4 and Leehi. Those girls are powerhouses. Fun fact: Jessi was in a rap battle show (unpretty rapstar) with a bunch of other kpop rappers including Jimin, the rapper from AOA with the unique voice. Jessi came out as one of the top rappers and in typical Jessi fashion was straight up dissing everyone.

I loooove Jessi, what a talent. The really short slow one, Numb has an MV and the song is gorgeous, shows off her voice really well. At the end it's an outtake where they had to stop filming because someone was making noise outside so she's like "What? You're saying we have to start over? HEY! who is it/who's there?!"

It was the end of her season and she took sometime for her and while she was away, they released a teaser announcing the next season with Sunmi. BUT Jessi didn't took it to heart, her and Sunmi are friends, so she wished her good luck and didn't felt robbed at all when it was announced.

Hey, loved watching your reaction. Jessi is truly versatila and YES I agree that when she is live she literally pops off more so than in her MVs. You should try checking out her live performances, especially MAMA 2020 (Bonus she also performs another song with Hwasa- 2 very badass queens) and Nunu Nana (feat. Jackson). She has a very natural and freestyle approach to her performances and stage. Also if you want to hear more of her singing I would recommend her song "Numb" but she also has older songs like "Dont Make me Cry", "Excessive Love", "I want to be me" and ofc "Down". She also has a couple OSTs "My romeo" and "Gosh"
