The musicians are top notch, all three of them. It was a seriously cool jazzy sound that in itself would be very nice to just chill to. The tapping on the bass, the gentle guitar sound and the intricate and chill drumming. Perfect!

Thanks Kevin. They are from Donetsk , in eastern Ukraine, part of the territory annexed by Russia in 2014. Tatiana is her first name, that is all her. Don't be scared, she is a very nice person. lol. She is mostly self taught, with some influences being Otep and Randy Blythe(Lamb of God) for the harsh. Cleans, she is a big Gwen Stefani fan. This live session is a redo of an older song( from the 2016 2nd album, King of Everything), done to showcase Vlad on drums, as he had joined not long before this. He is classically trained on piano, and self taught on drums. He , Roman (guitar) and Eugen(bass) are all outstanding musicians.They write the music, then Tati writes most of the lyrics. Though Eugene helped her with this song , as both are Pisces. Most songs are mixed clean/harsh vocals, there are some all harsh and a few all clean. their 5th album, Duel, is due out on the 7th of Feb. Next step is often to see her do it live, usually with either "Perennial" at Wacken 2019, or "Pit of Consciousness" live in Kiev. Some other songs : "Vortex" ,"Home Back", "Teacher Teacher", "Judgement (And Punishment), and from the upcoming album "Someone's Daughter".

Jinjer was formed in 2008 in eastern Ukraine. By 2015, the band had completely changed. That's why they now say 2009 was the year they were founded, because that was when Tati took over the microphone. In 2016 they released Picies and had their breakthrough. In 2014, when the civil war broke out, they fled to the West. When the Russian invasion occurred in 2022, they were in Kiev and defended the city on the civilian side. After that, they toured to collect donations for Ukraine. It's a metalcore band, but their jazzy sound makes them unique.

One of my favorite songs to see reactors do. I mainly only know this song by Jinjer, but I have seen them live a little over a year ago, and let me say, even though you know she can do growls like that, it doesn't prepare you to actually hear it live. Live, I was blown away by it, though sadly, they did not perform this song during their set when I saw them.

Im a pisces too, guess it's 1 in 12 don't buy into it, love tati. Surprised noone sugested perrenial live, to see her growl/vocal range, my favorite vid is vortex, she just did a duet with 'spirit box' live 'circle with me' worth a dive.

This take is called "live", but is actually quite strongly processed. Its a one take and therefore can be called studio live. And there is nothing fake. She can sing like that and the musicians can play like that. But, there is processing going on and even layering in order to improve the result. And the result is beautiful. This recording was really made to highlight their new drummer. Its a kind of show off for him. But, the total result makes this one of the best recorded music video on Internet.

A duality a duplicity if you will? In the song 2 opposing time signatures'. two opposing types/styles of singing.. And she has a little fish in each of her ear spacers/gauges??
