Time for “Gilded Runner” rhythm identification challenge?

To add to this, please look up “When you realise the math behind sumeru music” video by abyss breakdown, it isn’t long and it may explain a lot regarding the interesting rhythm of this OST and how amazingly it’s done

Not so much rhythm but time signatures, the rhythm is fairly simple on its own

This song plays while you fight two of the three overworld bosses in the rainforest area. One is a giant bird-like mushroom creature, and the other is a mechanical thing that kind of looks like a winged T. rex.

The coordination that it would have taken to do that switch up in the middle of the song. So much talent from this orchestra and conductor

This song makes me think of a heroes journey. 1:12 It starts like an invitation into adventure. 1:59 That then builds into a more chaotic challenge. 6:00 Slows down as it presents a greater obstacle looming in the horizon. 8:27 Overwhelming as it gets out of hand. Then the climax: 8:54 Pushing forward with nothing but will and determination despite all odds. Achieving the imposible.

Jnana is pronounced a bit like Niana or Gnana. It comes from Indian and hindu philosophy, meaning knowledge.

its Gyaan in modernised hindi, or gyaana in sanskrit (or Jnana when latanised, so Nyana in game which makes it sound kinda funny)

Fun fact: it is cognate with the English word “know” (the k is there for a reason, even if it is silent in modern English). It is also cognate with words like gnosco in Latin, or gignosko in Ancient Greek. All of these words have the same root reconstructed as something like “*gneh” in Proto-Indo-European language. This is also why a lot of european and some indian languages have similar words, a lot of the time it’s just because the words descended from the same root (of course, the languages in the european branches are more similar to each other, while Sanskrit and Persian are in other branches, closer to each other). The similarities are not enough for english players to recognize words in the sumeru region in game though (and there are non-indo-european terms too).
