G Rap, Grand Puba and Cappadonna are 3 of the most underrated rappers back in the day to me. Puba was who I was trying to dress and be like when I was young first finding myself. Then Ghost and Rea came out and Nas and JayZ was big when I got older. So when I see my son dressing like Lil Baby and NBA young boy I understand because we are finding ourself through the music and style

Out of all the Kool G Rap songs I've heard, my favorite song is men at work. yeah, it was on his first album but i heard that jawn about 2 years before the album came out. No cursing or gangsta stuff just str8 up bars on a dope break beat!!! many don't request it but I suggest you listen to that one even if it's not for a video. use the lyric video too.

Oh, Black thought did a remake to this with his song, Thought at Work! that was dope too. Black thought made it clear that Kool G Rap was the guy he looked up too. That's the video version. You need to listen to the original. Back in the day they recorded on to tape. Kool G Rap's verse was so long that the tape ran out and they had to edit it down.
