I've saw Keane live many times. Great live. There are so many good tracks you could check out of theirs. A Bad Dream, Hamburg Song will give you the chills. Crystal Ball, Bedshaped, Sovereign Light Cafe.

Keane are genuinely one of the most human bands around at the moment, the level of humanity in their songs is just so restoring for me, and it puts them above most other acts, for me at least. Shame critics hated them for being too human and “wearing their hearts on their sleeves”. Underrated and under-appreciated band, man! You should give Is It Any Wonder a listen, that’s a song with ENERGY in spades

Tim Rice-Oxley wrote this song. Its based on the band's difficulties in getting noticed in London. So on the verge of giving up. They all returned back to their home town Battle in Hastings. The song references them going back, visiting all the places they used to play. The result was this masterpiece.

Keane are a local band to myself, so when they started to release their songs - it was an enormous sense of local pride that they were so good. I remember listening to the whole album over and over at the time, but for some reason as time goes on I haven't heard this song in ages! I don't know if it is a reflection of the past year or so but I found myself in tears! The power of music! Thank you for this and please add Bedshaped to your Playlist 🥰

Yes, Tom Chaplin has a beautiful voice. I think it has actually improved with time, and recent videos show that.The distinctive piano sound is Tim Rice-Oxley playing the fantastic Yamaha CP70 electric grand piano. Bend and Break is another great Keane song. Also, Bedshaped.
