Home Free almost got to sing this with Kenny Rogers on The Tonight Show. Bad weather caused flight delays and they missed the rehearsal time. They were able to hang out backstage with Kenny though, and they said he gave them lots of good advice.

I love this song - they all sound so good with Kenny Rogers (they later sang "The Gambler" as an homage to him after his passing). The singing, harmonies & beatboxing are just perfect. You should check out Home Free's cover of The Gambler which they did as a tribute to Kenny when he passed away. It was filmed during the Pandemic, so they weren't together. Also they still sing this on their Christmas show with Chance singing Kenny's part. Great reaction.

Kenny Rogers was one of only a few country singers that I loved before Home Free taught me to love country music. Maybe it was the country instruments I didn't like, because a cappella is fantastic! This arrangement is top of the class, showing off every kind of talent and skill possible, and without suffering the dark side of repetition. Utterly incredible!
