Its like his lady came home after a hard day ready to fight and he brought the tone down started rubbing her back headed to the bedroom. Poured wine let more slow lyrics out to get him out of the fight. Rubbed the legs down avoided an atomic fight. Lionel and Prince gave a lot of white singers and female groups great songs and got paid with the credits here. It was a perfect deal. ❤❤😊

Yeah I used to work at Cracker Barrel all through college (early 2010s the good old days lol) and when this would come on it was such a JAM and my coworkers used to make fun of me for loving it 😅but I would always retort w/ “if Usher or some other r&b singer sang it you would love it” What brought me here was I was trying to see if I could find a black person doing a cover of it 😬🧐and I HAD TO see black ppl reacting to it bc I know I have tastes and come to find out it was Written by a black person 😂😂😂😂 I felt that in my soul😩.
