Exactly, it's almost like she is afraid to speak her own opinion when reviewing songs, but in this song you could tell she was entranced, yet when he talked about it being old school she agreed like it was a bad thing with the mentioning clothes instead of expressing that this is how every woman wants to be loved which her face expressed.

Kenny just passed in 2021. Kenny was also an actor. Lionel Richie is super famous as a writer, producer, musician, singer, solo artist and lead singer of The Commodores one of the most popular bands/groups of the 70’s-90’s. Lionel is also the adoptive father of Nicole Richie who is famous singer, drummer Shelia E’s biological niece.

When Motown Records' publishing company, Jobete Music, told Rogers that Lionel Richie wanted to write a song for him, he immediately flew to Las Vegas to meet him. Richie played a demo to Rogers, who loved the song and within a fortnight had recorded it. I love your channel could you please react to either Tribute by Tenacious D or Suicide Blonde by Inxs

According to Kenny & Lionel; Kenny was playing the Vegas Rivera, when he called Lionel for a song. Lionel said he didn’t have time, because the Commodores were going on tour. Then the drummer fell off his motorcycle, affecting the tour. Lionel called Kenny back & they met the next day, at the Rivera. Lionel had part of a song (just 1 word, “Lady” & some melody, which had been rejected by the Commodores). Lionel played it on “a little rinky dink, upright piano” in Kenny’s dressing room. 6 months later, they went into the studio. Kenny recorded the 1st verse, asked where the 2nd verse was, & found out Lionel was in the toilet, writing the rest of the song. In a later interview, Lionel adds to the story, making it even funnier. He said, the 1 word he had was actually “Baby”, but when they met, Kenny kept going on & on about his wife, repeatedly calling her “a Lady”, so when Kenny asked the name of the song, Lionel blurted out “Lady.”

Kenny Rogers was a Texan. Before he became famous, he led a fellow Texan to Los Angeles. He is Don Henley. Going to LA led to playing in a band for Linda Ronstadt, where the 2 met the late Glenn Frey. Then, the 2 men formed The Eagles. In the original music video to Lady, Lionel Richie plays the piano 🎹 while KR sang. He had pipes! 😃 These pipes were why so many ladies went to his concerts! 👩🎤 Strongly suggested Kenny video 📹 The Gambler. ♠️ As for Lionel Richie, suggested video 📹 Truly. 40 years! 🎂 RIP Kenny Rogers and Glenn Frey.

Its funny how Kenny Rogers is kind of forgotten to a degree now. He was HUGE in the 80s. A country hit maker that probably had quite a bit to do with crossover country and the way country is now. He was big with the ladies back then especially. I guess he probably looks like someones grandpa here lol but he had a certain charm and voice that the ladies liked. Different times for sure. He had been around a long time, probably 15-20 yrs before he blew up though. He was with a band called the "First Edition". Had a hit with a cool song called "Just Dropped In To See What Condition My Condition Is In". Now thats a cool song. Not one of my favorite solo artists, a bit too sappy for me, but definitely a big name back then.

This is actually my favorite song of his, so you can stop now. j/k He's an icon really. The thing I thought was pretty cool, he was one of the guys who was touring up until the end almost. I checked to see how much his tickets were even though I couldn't go and they were really cheap even though he could have commanded a lot more. There aren't they many people who do that. I know John Mellencamp was also pretty cheap and I think Pearl Jam might have kept it as cheap as they could. To me that means they care about their fans and deserve their icon status. As far as Lionel Richie goes, both of them were the type all your aunties and grandmas liked back in the day. They were both huge in the 80s. I'm sure I've seen a clip of them singing this song together. Speaking of grandmas, the Bee Gees wrote a song that Kenny sang with Dolly Parton that was a massive hit too. It's called "Islands in the Stream".
