First, Led Zepplin is the best band ever. I grew up with them (I’m so fortunate). Now, OMG, lead singer Robert Plant... He’s just beautiful. And he’s an extremely intelligent, versatile, and a kind, and soft-spoken (hard to believe but true) man. He was young here; now he’s old. I live in Austin, and he lived here for several years. I ran into him while he was carrying a bunch of books to his car. Nothing great. Probably a Toyota Sentra or something like that. We were at the intersection waiting for the light to turn. He said “It’s taking quite a while, isn’t it?” I said “Tell me about it!” After we finally got to cross, he said “You have a Lovely Day!” I said “You too!” No need for a stupid autograph; it was just nice to experience an ordinary activity with Robert Plant. My daughter ran into him as well back in 2012 when she was going to UT at Austin. Same thing- she didn’t ask for his autograph. He does a lot of collaborating with other artists and has created his own various bands over the years. Although his looks have faded, and he doesn’t do those provocative moves anymore, he’s stood the test of time. But I love going back to these early days and enjoy the eye candy! lol Seriously, this band, every single member is talented.

Love your reaction! Love this song! This is some blues! Love Led Zeppelin. I once saw their bass player, John Paul Jones in concert. Such amazing musicians. There's nothing more I can say about this song and this band that hasn't already been said before. If you liked this, you'll probably enjoy another song by Led Zeppelin called How Many More Times. And since you like their live recordings I'd definitely suggest any live recording of How Many More Times you can see on KZbin. I hope you enjoy!

Led Zeppelin is not a “he” but a band.....Jimmy Page- one of the best rock guitar players in history and producer of all their records and founder; Robert Plant, vocalist, lyricist and one of the best frontmen ever in rock; John Bonham, one of the best, if not the best rock drummer ever; John Paul Jones, keyboards, bass, mandolin and sometimes two at the same time (keyboards while playing bass with pedals). Together, acknowledged as one of the best, if not the best hard rock band in history and influencer of so much music going forward. They were a juggernaut in the seventies and were Gods of Rock. Live shows were legendary...often lasting over 3 hours.

Robert Plant has a unique voice. As close to perfection as I have ever heard. Jimmy Page is the guitarist one of the top 3 guitar gods. John Pual Jones Bass and Keyboards. He is the bands secret weapon, the one that pulls the songs and band together. John Bonham on drums again when speaking of the greatest rock dummers, John Bonham is in the top 3 in my opinion

This was filmed for a movie released a few years later, at the end of their third US tour of 1973, with guitarist Jimmy Page allegedly surviving on dope and adrenaline. How true this is, nobody can really tell. When challenged on their behaviour at this time, Robert Plant suddenly develops selective memory loss...
