I never get through that song without crying. Because I can feel her disappointment in her voice. That song and lyrics are based on her own real life events. She was in a relationship with another woman (she calls herself lesbian) and that other person just left her in the rain. Reminds me very much of my own marriage. I am still married but living in divorce, I have a beautiful daughter of nearly 7 years that I haven't seen in nearly two years because of her narcist mother. She was the one who wanted to divorce me about 10 months into marriage and when I finally filed for divorce last year she moved away and didn't tell me the adress so that no mail can reach her. But she was the one who couldn't stand being with me and left me here while she moved to her home country Mexico in 2018 for good. All I'm doing those days is pay her aliments and that's it.
