The original version was recorded in 1967 by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Then it was covered in 2008 by Norwegian group Madcon. They added the "rap" parts. Måneskin recorded it in 2017, basically covering the Madcon version. Måneskin 's is the version you may have heard on TikTok or anywhere in recent years. Their live performances always sound more "rock" than their studio recordings.

It was the 2021 American Music Awards and the video is on KZbin. 🙂 They were nominated for a Grammy, I think in 2022, but they didn't win
