Awesome! I love that you're discovering this band! It was me, who talked about them getting hate but that's, you know, nothing to worry about. It just shows how popular they are, since when you get popular you also get haters. It's part of the deal. One of the arguments is that they're "not really rock", because they also do more poppy sounding stuff. Which, as you said, is just a stupid argument to begin with. But, like I said before, almost all of the hate comes from Italy, so it's obvious that it has nothing to do with the actual band. As an Italian friend explained to me: "Italians forgive everything, murder, theft and corruption, but they don't forgive succes". With all the love and respect I have for Italy, it seems to be true here. Anyway, I didn't know that Sony is such a pain in the butt when it comes to copyright! For another great live, definitely check "I wanna be your slave", in Glastonbury 2023!

yep, they won the Eurovision song festival with this song. The song lyrics are about being yourself, even if you're out of your mind, because at least you're not like the others... It also talks about how people tried to tell them what to do, and telling those people that they should just shut up, because they don't know what they're talking about. The title Zitti e Buoni comes from a phrase teachers or parents would use against children, telling them 'to be quiet and good', so now they're saying that to their detractors. And now they get audiences to sing that song from Europe to the Americas, to as far as Japan and Australia... in Italian...

Wow, you read the comments so carefully, I feel honored! 😂 Damiano is kinda an introvert, maybe not really shy, but like...chill. But he can transform completely when he's on stage. I guess this is actually one of the more chill performances, in others he can go completely crazy. And crazily multifaceted too. He's got like, multiple different personas, so when you compare two performances and for example an interview, it seems like it's 3 different people.

I feel honored whenever someone responds longer than 2 sentences xD I guess me and Damiano are kind of similar in the aspect that I'm also an introvert (believe it or not, I'm EXTREMELY introverted) and this YT videos that I'm doing actually helps me get to be sociable without having to be... sociable if that makes sense? Anywho, I'm very glad you took the time to fill me in on the band, I love to see the enthusiasm of fans talking about bands they like without the band knowing. It's all love! ❤️

I discovered them because of the Eurovision and remember being impressed by some things I've seen, but didn't really dive any deeper until this year. So I'm still in my "hype era", when it comes to them. I'm an introvert too, so I get you perfectly. Watching reaction videos actually makes me wonder how tf are all those reactors comfortable enough to put themselves on camera and upload it on YT XD

A correct regarding to comment you put in the beginning ...The youngest thomas was 14 when he Damiano and vic started. Damiano was 16. They were all in high school and met there. If Damiano was 14 then they wouldn't meet in high school since he is the oldest born in 1999. And NOW there is no leader anymore. They are an equal foursome but Vic is called mama Måneskin because she started to form the group back in 2015
