Melanie is an artist is unique to me cause she likes touching and portraying subjects that many might feel uncomfortable with yet every song of hers leave you with some sort of lesson or takeaway. I would recommend watching her MVs in order though, cause she has an MV for every song in her debut album Crybaby, then a movie for her album k-12. Portals (the one Void is on) is sort of in progress for the MVs and movie, so it will be posted one by one when they're done which takes a lot of time, plus the movie might be next year too.

She got her start on The Voice. Watching one of her performances for the show shows a more innocent side of her. Her music is not the kind of music I like but I do like her. The couple of songs I've heard after The voice have seemed to have a lot of emotion.
