This song means a lot to me. It has kept me from doing the unthinkable. The lyrics says to end life but the ending, where Kirk is playing, seems like it brings fresh air to breath. It makes me feel like I can continue on, brings me strength. It looked like you didn’t care for it. Believe it or not, this song has brought ppl back from the brink. It means a lot to us, the ones that understand.

When l was chronically depressed l decided one day no one was going to save me and l was going to make my bed every day and not get back in it. Then from there l realised if l got out of the house and did something early l felt better than the days l was trapped inside. Eat that frog - was best advice l got after that and a solid and free hobby helped a lot. Also your brain is a super computer designed to answer any question you give it - so if you ask it negative questions all day it will give you negative answers all day and not break a sweat. Certainly getting up early to go on a hike on weekends is a great thing to or get into stealth camping or something. But yeah it’s easy to rock up to work with purpose and no one notices - it’s the down time that gets you. Hope you can find something to be passionate about - with so may things and choices it’s about knowing what to ignore imho. But mostly l hope you find connection - this is why so many people come to God when they have exhausted everything else - knowing someone is with you 24 hours a day to talk to (and get answers) makes your mind solid - just not that bizzare institutional church stuff you see through all the Hollywood movies with priests and that garbage that you need to go through another person for spirituality.

My great grandmother taught me that life isn't fair Michelle...but that's a good thing because fairness swings both ways. Imagine having to carry your own burdens plus the burdens of all those around you in the name of fairness. Any amount of happiness would be cancelled out by the weight of the burdens that fairness brings. So what does it matter if your life is not exactly like everyone else's? It's time to be good to yourself, be good to others, and be thankful to others for carrying most of life's burdens for you.

May i suggest the concert in Moscow if you want to see them play......almost 2 million were in attendance, our music from the west slowly trickled into russia through underground methods for years since it was illegal to listen to it. When the censorship lifted they put on this show along with Pantera and many others and the whole place went nuts! Primal Concrete Slave and Domination by Pantera from that show that stuck out in my mind both are epic.... 12th edit and im done! Promise lol

Im absolutely obsessed with Metallica.... because I can't listen to Prince anymore 😢 Their instrumentals are 🔥🔥🔥 James Hetfield wrote this song while they were on tour way back in the early days and all their equipment had been stolen including the amp his mother gave him before she passed away😢 They write about some heavy shit girl.
