I lost my left testicle to cancer, true story, and didn't die because of some weird religious cult. Mother Theresa denied pain relief to those in her care but got jacked up with Vitamin M when her time came. Don't trust history, ask questions! Challenge everything, unlike Rage against the Machine who rolled over like bitches in the last 5 years.

Happy Easter to you and your family. Great reaction. I grew up a metal head. Black Sabbath (they still love you by the way, but Geezer Butler's starting to give you a bit of stink for taking way to long to get on with the show) AC/DC and Iron Maiden. All bands that were around before these fine young upstarts came about. When I listen back, I go to my "back in the day guys" but you've helped remind me how awesome Metallica is (It didn't take much). When I started DJ'ing in the early 2020's I played Funk and Soul, and then I started running Burlesque and Cabaret shows from 2009 onwards in Dublin with lots of 30's 40's and 50's music (mostly 40's) but have always been a Metal head in my Heart. My Brother, I love your reactions, Beastie Boys Head for life, and I know you can't listen to all at once, but I am gonna keep on trying to harvest that Soul, for the Lord. I am a Reverend after all. Listening to Black Sabbath after forever will assure you it is not for Satan I am harvesting, but War Pigs first preferably (not with the fan made video, but with lyrics is fine). Be well Brother, from the city that Faught an empire at Easter, in 1916 ( That's the British I'm talking about and we lost on that occasion, but less than a decade later we became a Republic). Also I'm at the arse end of a mushroom trip, last time was 18 months a go.

James Hetfield's childhood was very religious. However, it is ironic that the Christian Science Church, to which his mother belonged, denounces science, yet includes it in their name. His mother refused to take medicine and died a painful death. James is not attacking religion but is criticizing churches that manipulate people and take their money. He is using their own words against them. It's important to note that his criticism is not directed towards clean congregations of any religion.

It’s a deep cut for sure, but they last played it in November, 2023 and multiple shows before that on 72S tour, so they know its a great song - would top most metal bands entire discographies
